Turning Feedback Into Opportunity

Feedback doesn’t always call ahead to visit, sometimes it just shows up and knocks on your door. It can provide us with a tremendous amount of information, but sifting through what we receive can be difficult, challenging, even painful. How we ask for and interpret the feedback that comes our way can unlock so many doors for us, and being caught off guard makes that more challenging.

The feelings and emotions that professionals may experience around feedback could even prevent some of us from asking for feedback altogether, leading to missed opportunities and engagement with our clients, stakeholders, and students in the classroom. In this workshop, participants will experience techniques to help them explore the benefits and challenges of different types of feedback, how to create and decipher effective an effective feedback form, and how to interpret different elements of feedback to better “read between the lines."

By adding these techniques to their toolbox, they will be better prepared to use that feedback to improve the dynamics of their team and address more issues, challenges, and dysfunctions as they arise.
