Communication is the most effective tool for leaders to achieve their desired outcomes. Whether it is symbolism, a well-crafted expression of thought, inflection of tone, or gestures, communication is the way that leadership is cultivated and conveyed. As managers move from team or project leads through the ranks to an executive team, leaders thoughtfully shape their messages to reach various audiences, including followers, constituents, superiors and stakeholders.  Join us to discuss the art of communication and presentation as we apply it to various levels of leadership.

Together we will examine leadership communication competencies, share stories, and developmental trends and challenges.  In addition, we will explore the TED model of “inspired formats, breadth of content, and committed individuals communicating their passion” to discuss the development of our own TED Talk.  Whether you already have a presentation on leadership and communication, have a resource to share, or want to learn more about developing your own content – come join us for a rich dialogue. Then sign up to share your own Tiny TED Talk with the group in a future meeting.
