Vendor Selection and Management Panelists
Thelma Michelle Moore, MA, PMP, has over 20 years of combined teaching, training, technology, project/program management, management, and leadership experience. Michelle first joined the Metro DC ASTD Chapter in 2007 as the Director of Technology. She has served as the VP of Operations, VP of Finance, and President of the chapter. Michelle has served in various roles and has gain experience in multiple chapter portfolios and leadership.
Michelle currently works for ESI International as the Manager of Blended and Online Learning. In 2010, Michelle earned the ESI International President’s Award for her project management of a major learning content management system implementation.
Michelle has also taught in the Anne Arundel Public School System, worked for IBM, and has volunteered for multiple organizations throughout her career.
Michelle has a Masters of Art in Instructional Systems Development from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Ms. Lisa Cohen has over 25 years of business experience, and brings to organizations solutions to improve workplace performance. She has experience in the following areas: all phases of the learning and development cycle, instructor-led training (ILT), web-based training (WBT), train-the-trainer (TTT), curriculum development, management and leadership development programs, organization change management, career development programs, on-boarding/orientation programs, program/project management, marketing, management (inside sales, outside sales, and call centers), business development, direct and indirect sales and event planning.
She has worked in various positions for AT&T, MasteryWorks, Management Concepts, BearingPoint, and Deloitte and is currently the Vice President of Learning and Development for Selectica, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise contract management and procurement solutions, based out of San Mateo, CA.
Ms. Cohen has been an active member of the ATD community for over 10 years. Locally she has held the following positions for the local DC ATD chapter – Director of Programs, Director of SIGs and VP of Finance.
Ms. Cohen has a BBA from James Madison University and a MBA from Averett University.
