Are you ready to take your learning and performance career to the next level? Demonstrate your expertise, passion and dedication to high standards with one acronym...

Convene with like-minded individuals to begin your journey towards earning the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential on February 25 at 6 pm. You can join Christina Holloway, CPLP and your fellow CPLP candidates either in-person or virtually to lay the groundwork for creating your study plan to sit for the CPLP Knowledge Exam (KE) in the May 16 - June 6 window.

Program Goals
By the end of the CPLP study program, you will:
1. Review the fundamental information identified by the CPLP competency model needed to sit for the CPLP Knowledge Exam.
2. Identify gaps in knowledge and develop a personalized study plan to prepare for the CPLP Knowledge Exam.
3. Create an action plan for your work product submission.

Tentative Session Outline
Week 0 (Feb. 25, hybrid*) - Kick off. Create study plan.
*Meet in-person at 1055 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 or by calling into the virtual meeting. Instructions to attend virtually and log-in information will be provided upon registering for the study group.

Participant Requirements
In order to ensure your success in this study group you should be prepared to:

• Own your own copy of the ATD Learning System. The Learning System can be purchased here: https://www.td.org/Publications/Books/ASTD-Learning-System
• Be member to the DC Chapter of ATD
• Actively contribute to this group by delivering short, informal presentations related to a self-selected AOE. Also be ready to provide a brief orientation of your AOE one week in advance and lead a brief review session of your AOE one week after the presentation.
• Participate in all virtual study sessions after the kick off. Although this program is part of a guided study, you will ultimately guarantee your success by being a strong self-directed learner.

Christina M. Holloway, MS, CPLP has 10 years of experience in the learning and development industry. Holloway's interest in workplace learning and performance stems from her service in the U.S. Army Reserves and the various duties she executed as the Retention Officer and Equal Opportunity Leader to train and counsel fellow soldiers on matters related to performance, career opportunities, sexual harassment and conflict management. This experience contributed to Holloway earning a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Bloomsburg University, and a Masters' of Science in Instructional Technology from Towson University.

Holloway obtained a the designation of Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) in 2012; completing her work product with a focus on managing the learning function. She currently spearheads events and manages the production and implementation of eLearning events for a continuing education program as the Learning Center Manager at the American Physical Therapy Association. Prior to this work, Holloway coordinated and designed training related to health care issues and developed bilingual technical training for gaming and accounting systems for US and Mexican clients.
