Are you stuck as a manager of a learning or training function and are struggling to figure out how to get everyone on the team to work better together?

Do you find yourself facilitating teams or leading a team on an important high profile training project and wanting to get the best result possible? A team is like a complex machine. It's the interaction between the parts that makes the difference between a team machine that's dynamic and energetic—and one that gets stuck in the mud.

So how do you create productive, effective teams whose performance isn't just a matter of good luck? And how do you manage teams that are underperforming—and develop strategies to address poor productivity and dysfunction?
In this experiential session we will introduce Belbin Team Role Theory and review your personal Team Role Analysis (included in workshop cost). You will experience a team mapping session and utilize a powerful Interaction Index exercise.

This professional development workshop provides:
  • Tools and insights for understanding how a team is operating
  • How to evaluate individual and team performance
  • Strategies for improving interaction that aligns with achieving desired results.
By the end of the workshop you will understand Team Role Theory and be able to:
  • Use the insights gained from your own individual Belbin Team Role Report
  • Design productive teams using team mapping
  • Diagnose causes for under performing teams and what to do about it
  • Establish a common language that creates team alignment
  • Create a plan that builds upon playing to people’s strengths and manages their weaknesses
  • Be able to replicate exercises and feel confident running your own session.
NOTE: Information for generating your personal Belbin Team Roles Report for the Workshop will be provided in the confirmation and reminder emails.
