Doug Harward, CEO and Founder of Training Industry, is internationally recognized as one of the leading strategist for training and outsourcing business models. He is respected as one of the industry’s leading authorities on competitive analysis for training services and works with international companies and new business star-ups in building training organizations.

Harward previously served as the Director of Global Learning for Nortel Networks where he led the industry's largest global training outsourcing engagement with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He received the Chairman's Global Award for Community Service for his work in developing integrated learning organization strategies within higher education, public schools and business. He has worked in the training industry for more than 25 years. He received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BSBA in Marketing from Appalachian State University.

Cancellation Policy

Metro DC ATD will refund your registration fee when cancelled by the end of the "Early Bird" registration window. Cancellations after this time will not be refunded.

From the South:
Follow signs for I-395 S/US-1 S/Alexandria. Merge onto US-1 South. Proceed approx 0.8 miles and turn right onto South Glebe Road. Proceed north for 4.8 miles. As you cross Rte. 50, name will change to North Glebe Road. Turn left onto North Fairfax Drive Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston is in first block on the left at 4610 North Fairfax Dr.

From the West:
Continue east on I-66 toward Washington, DC. Take Exit 71 - Glebe Road/Fairfax Drive Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston is just off the exit, on your right at 4610 North Fairfax Drive.

From the North/East
Take I-95 South toward Washington, DC. Exit onto I-495 West toward Silver Spring, MD. (I-495 is also called the Beltway.) Continue on I-495 west and then south, toward Northern Virginia. Take I-66 East (left exit) toward Washington, DC. Take Exit 71 - Glebe Rd./Fairfax Drive. Holiday Inn Arlington at Ballston is just off the exit, on your right, at 4610 North Fairfax Drive.

From the Metro:
From the Ballston/Marymount station, turn left onto North Fairfax Drive. Proceed left/west on Fairfax Drive for 3 blocks. After you cross Glebe Road, the hotel will be just ahead on the left.
