This two-day session (8/3-4/2016) teaches you how to create effective, engaging e-learning from start to finish, taking you from the very basics up to insider tips and secrets that even experienced developers don't know. Whether you are a beginner just getting started, an intermediate user looking to pick up a few extra tricks, or someone just curious about the possibilities, this program is for you!

Adobe Captivate is the most widely used rapid e-learning authoring tool. In this two-day program, you'll learn how to create computer simulations (both sit-back-and-watch demonstrations and try-it-yourself interactive practices) as well as how to create non-simulation content, such as business skills, compliance, or policy and procedure training. This course covers the basics such as how to navigate around Captivate all the way to advanced techniques such as actions, conditions, and variables. Participants will receive a copy of the upcoming book, E-Learning Uncovered: Captivate.

Participants will need to bring their own laptop with Captivate installed (trial version OK).

Please be sure to download and install the trial before arriving to the session.  The files are large and may take a while to download and install.  Installation may require administrative access.
