Linda David, CPLP, CPPC will explore the Key Actions for the Coaching Area of Expertise based on the ATD Competency Model. Come prepared to learn more about coaching in the context of this model and to discuss how you fulfill these competencies in your own coaching work. Some of the Key Actions covered will be:

  • Establishes a coaching agreement
  • Establishes trust and intimacy with the client
  • Demonstrates active listening
  • Asks powerful questions
  • Designs learning opportunities

Whether you are currently a coach, exploring becoming a coach, or interested in finding a coach for yourself, this session will be both informative and inspirational.

Speaker Bio

Linda M. David, CPLP, CPPC is a certified coach in private practice since 1998. She has been in the learning and development field for over 25 years with experience designing, delivering, and managing learning programs. In addition to her coaching practice, Linda is senior project manager, CPLP preparation at ATD National. As a coach, Linda helps clients design the life they want and then bring that design into reality. That may be with someone on the path of career discovery, finding a new job, changing career, or perhaps starting a business. Others are seeking more balance and fulfillment in their current life or retirement. To each relationship, she brings a compassionate heart and deeply intuitive listening skills.
