Are you newer to talent development and looking to develop your skills?

Are you a seasoned veteran who wants to give back?

The DC ATD Mentoring Program program pairs experienced members with members who are newer to the field.

All participants will enjoy a supportive structure with:

• Program Materials

• Guided Activities

• Cohort Events

• Personal Growth

• Expanded Network

Everyone learns. Everyone grows. Everyone wins!

If you have more than five years experience in talent development…

You will be matched with someone who is newer to the field. The relationship you build with your mentor program partner will give you the opportunity to enhance your skills and grow your leadership capacity. You and your partner will leverage your experience, guidance, and coaching to support your partner’s professional growth. Your partner will likely offer new insights, perspectives, innovative approaches, and access to a new talent network.

If you have less than five years experience in talent development…

You will be matched with someone who has more than five years in the field. The relationship you build with your mentor program partner will give you the opportunity to explore your professional goals and plan pathways toward achieving them. You and your partner will build a relationship with shared expectations set early in the process. Your partner will offer experience, guidance, coaching, and access to a professional network that will help you grow your professional capacity more efficiently and effectively than going it alone.

The program will run May through early January and participants are asked to commit to their partners for the duration of the program. DC ATD Mentor Program resources and events will provide the framework for a productive mentor relationship. To cover program costs, the enrollment fee is $150 per participant.
