We've all been there...the dreaded nightmare of working with a subject matter expert (SME) who seems to have made it his mission to make your life miserable. From our perspective, they’re inflexible, stubborn, stuck in their ways, or distrustful; and yet we still have a goal to accomplish together. A bad relationship with a SME can undermine everything we do and add hours of work and stress. This session will focus on how to effectively manage the instructional designer - SME relationship so that you can get results. Facilitators will engage participants in discussions around building trust and rapport, effective communication strategies, and how to resolve conflicts when they arise.
