Our year end meeting pulls our 2017 topics together with a twist. Using fun improvisational activities, we will practice skills learned throughout 2017 - manage the unknown by practicing thinking on your feet, successfully collaborate with others through the power of "yes anding...", build your business through great listening skills, and have lots of fun!
Our resident improv’er, Lori Muhlstein, will be facilitating. Since this is a celebration – please bring an appetizer to share with your fellow Free Agents.
The UVA Northern Virginia Center, located at 7054 Haycock Road in Falls Church, is easily accessible from I-495, I-66, Route 7, and is adjacent to the West Falls Church Metro (orange line).

From I-495: Take Exit 47B Route 7 East for 2 miles, passing under Route 66. Turn left at the next major traffic light onto Haycock Road. At the next traffic light, turn left onto the access road for the West Falls Church Metro Station. The building is on the left. Follow signs for University parking.

Travel by Metrorail

MetroBus and the Fairfax Connector make stops at the West Falls Church Metro Station. Route information may be obtained from Metro at 202.637.7000 or the Fairfax Connector at 703.339.7200.
Parking
Parking is $4.85 per weekday, cash or credit. Parking is free on weekends. If the University parking lot is full, please use the Metro parking lot across the street. A SmarTrip Card is needed to exit the Metro lot.
Lori Muhlstein, Chief Expression Officer, Lorim Resources LLC, is an accomplished trainer, facilitator, and actor/director.
Lori believes that when people communicate confidently and clearly, anything is possible. Her company creates and delivers training programs focused on critical communications skills – impromptu speaking, public speaking, team collaboration, and customer engagement. Combining a successful corporate career and a background in performing arts, her workshops integrate improv and role-play to create fun and meaningful learning experiences. Many of her classes such as “Improv for Success” and “Confident Public Speaking” are also offered through the Fairfax County Public Schools Adult and Community Education (ACE) catalog.
Lori has certifications in sales, relationship awareness, and conflict management, a Masters of Public Administration from American University in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of New York at Albany. She's also an award-winning actor and director and currently a member of StageCoach Theatre's improvisational troupe, The StageCoach Bandits.
