The Instructional Design CoP is joining forces with the Coaching CoP to explore the intricacies of designing a coaching program. In this challenge session, facilitators will guide the group in sketching out the objectives and components of a comprehensive coaching program to meet employee needs. Our group facilitators, Tracey Cairnie, MS PCC and Friderike Butler will guide the groups in exploring the role of coaches and how to build a program for employees as either a consultant or internal hire.

Friderike Butler, Chief Human Potential & Possibilities Catalyst of Butler Communication, is a successful serial entrepreneur, who built several businesses in the travel, IT and communication industry before applying her experience to leadership development and professional performance improvement as a trainer, facilitator and coach. She brings extensive management expertise, a genuine appreciation for diversity, curiosity around culture and the power of words, positive psychology, a heart-centered, practical, people-focused approach and flexibility to each new client engagement. Friderike has a special talent in working with high-potential employees, who are motivated to accelerate their professional growth and to expand their leadership capacity. She excels in working with “diamonds in the rough” by sharpening the focus of their best selves and shining light on their true brilliance and strengths. Friderike delivers executive coaching as a subcontractor to NASA, FDA OIP, TEI, local government bodies, and corporate clients.

Tracey Cairnie is the owner of CoreVision LLC, a firm specializing in coaching and dispute resolution. Tracey has over 25 years of experience in providing individual and team coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, training, group dynamics, and management and leadership optimization. She works closely with government agencies, court systems, businesses, and non-profits. She assists clients in designing and implementing programs related to change efforts, public policy initiatives, and organizational development. Tracey has a deep understanding of how leadership behaviors can be improved upon to build trust and improve individual and team performance, while fostering an environment where people excel in doing their best. Tracey received her coaching certification from Georgetown University and is certified PCC by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She also serves as an adjunct professor with George Mason University.
