Jennifer Labin is the owner of T.E.R.P. associates llc, a team who seeks to grow talent and ignite potential.  For fifteen years, Jenn has had success working with a wide spectrum of organizations including large private sector businesses, government/military operations, and higher-education institutions.

Jenn specializes in implementing high-impact and high-value employee development solutions. She has an extensive background in developing and facilitating content in leadership skills, as well as mentorship programs.  Jenn has helped individuals achieve greater potential through classroom training, workshops, long-term development programs, online modules, social media, presentations, and individual development plans.

She partners with each client to uncover the unique needs and landscape before customizing solutions perfectly fit to each audience. She works in topics such as leadership development, DISC and team communication, project management, change and innovation, mentoring & coaching, presentation design, performance management, and developing employees.  She is also passionate about partnering with internal learning & development professionals to increase their expertise, influence and impact.

Jenn is the author of Real World Training Design, a visual quick-guide for creating exceptional results within tight budgets and timelines.  Her second book on mentoring is expected in 2016.  Jenn co-authored a chapter on Balancing Time, Quality and Expectations in the ASTD Handbook 2nd Edition and has been published in the Pfeiffer Annual: Consulting journal three times, including her white paper on 5 Steps to Engagement: Simple and Practical Methods for Implementing an Employee Engagement Initiative. Jenn’s work can also be found in 101 Ways to Make Training Active, How to Write Terrific Training Materials, and the ASTD Trainer’s Toolkit app.  She has presented at the ATD International Conference in 2011, 2015 and 2016, as well as ATD chapters.

Jenn has her BA from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in Digital Art, and her MA in Instructional Systems Design. She has earned credentials as a Certified Principal Evaluator (Kirkpatrick Evaluation), DISC-PIAV and Situational Leadership II Facilitator, as well as a certificate in Presentation Design from Duarte Design and Leadership Development. She is active at the national and local levels of ATD and has served on the ASTD Press Editorial Advisory Board. Jenn is pursuing a Coaching certification to expand her impact with senior leadership and executive partners.

Besides learning and development, Jenn is passionate about scuba diving, the environment, and spending time with family. Jenn lives near Baltimore, MD with her amazing husband, daughters, and a turtle named Godzilla.
