Session Description
What learning content is the most appropriate for a mobile device, e.g. compliance, performance support, reference materials?  In this session, you'll walk through the design process, from identifying the target audience, picking the most appropriate content and developing to the limitations of the screen size of mobile device(s). You'll walk away with a list of design considerations and recommendations of when to use each.

About the Presenter
Rick Housler is a Learning Specialist at The World Bank with 20 years experience designing learning programs that bridge learning theory and technology. Whether it is a face-to-face workshop, video, webinar, web-based training, mobile learning, or social media, Rick is a strong advocate for utilizing the appropriate technology to match the desired learning outcomes. Before the Bank, Rick worked at some of the leading multimedia learning companies and then founded a learning company. He has advised and developed learning programs for many large organizations namely: AAA, Bearingpoint, Budget Rent-A-Car, CareFirst BCBS, Coopers & Lybrand, Department of Energy, Investment Company Institute, Marriott, Pfizer, US WEST and Wachovia.
