It is no longer acceptable to provide learning documents that are static and dry. More and more, writers are discovering the necessity and expediency of including interactive elements such as those typically found in eLearning applications into their documents. eLearning developers are being asked to deliver eLearning in new ways, such as in easily distributed documents. Isn't it cool that we've reached the point that we can have documents that are actually interactive and media-rich now?

Whatever application is used to create documents, the de facto standard for distribution is Adobe Acrobat. Participants will investigate two major options to including interactive elements in electronic documents. The first is the inclusion of SWF mini-apps into Acrobat documents. The second is the more manual approach of building interactive media-rich e-Learning elements in Adobe Acrobat. You will be amazed at what’s possible!
In this session, you will learn:

  • How to generate PDF documents from applications like Adobe Captivate
  • How to generate eLearning lessons and insert them into PDF documents
  • How to build interactive elements manually in PDF documents
  • How to include images, audio, video, and text (easier said than done)
  • How to create multiple-choice questions directly in Acrobat
  • How to navigate to different pages in a document, dependent on user choice
  • Step-by-step instructions so that you can do all this yourself
Audience: Beginner and intermediate eLearning developers and writers and others interested in discovering new ways to deliver eLearning elements in easy to distribute PDF documents.
