It’s that time of year again!! That time when we come together and start, intentionally, planning our course for a successful 2020. Careful planning is essential to sustained business success. It defines winning for the next 12 months. It gives you a road map for decision making and measuring success. Without a clear plan, you are very likely to fail. You know you need to take time to plan, because if you don’t then you won’t achieve your goals. But you also know life has a habit of getting in the way of that planning. Join the Metro DC ATD Free Agent CoP for a night of celebrating, planning, and tackling your biggest challenges! This interactive session will help you to assess your current goals, recognize your successes, and connect you with people and ideas to push through the tougher aspects of life as a free agent. We know you’re ready to make 2020 your most successful year yet, so join us for an evening dedicated to the connections and strategies that will make it happen!

Presenters:  Heather Archer and Stephanie Hubka

Two and a half years ago, Heather Archer launched her training company, Training de Jour, after many years of waiting and preparing. She specializes in helping her clients “Fill the Training Gaps” they experience in meeting their training needs. This allows her to work with a wide range of participants, clients and present on a number of interesting and transformative topics. Topics such as Presentation design and development, Team Building, and Human Dynamics.

Heather is a Master Trainer through the Association of Talent Development (ATD) as well as currently holding MCT and MOS Master Certifications. Heather presents training with an eye to adapting technical and/or complex training to an ever-changing environment to support change management best practices. She also enjoys, for some reason, working with the cranky and “challenging” participants. Visit Heather’s website at www.trainingdejour.com. To learn more about her services provided, email her at heather@trainingdejour.com.

Stephanie Hubka wants to live in a world where learning is exciting and inspiring and training is recognized as a natural driver of an organization’s strategy. As the managing partner at Protos Learning, her work focuses on learning innovation and technology, training design and delivery, and evaluation. During her career she has designed, developed, and delivered hundreds of instructor-led and online learning events for global audiences. She is also the co-founder and travel writer for Road Unraveled, a website that encourages people to use their vacation time. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Stephanie is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP). She is a past president of the Metro DC Chapter of ATD and serves as a National Advisor for Chapters for ATD, and she is the communications chair for the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Her passion for training is equaled only by her love of exploring the globe; an avid traveler, she has visited all 7 continents, 60 countries, and all 50 US states.
