Learners benefit when learning design is interactive and engaging – but where do learning professionals turn for interactive ideas? This session introduces a unique framework, developed to help a client identify interactive strategies that are suitable both face-to-face and virtual events. Using the learning cycle, discover a wide range of interactive techniques that apply to groups of all sizes, such as different ways to make presentations, or to liven up panel discussions. And hear more about how the client transformed their annual conference into a highly interactive learning environment.

Speaker:

Michael Randel has spent more than 20 years designing and facilitating interactive learning events. His experience of working with clients on four continents has resulted in a unique framework for designing interactive learning that can be applied in groups of all sizes, whether meeting in person or virtually. Michael founded Randel Consulting Associates in 2006, and works with clients at local, national and global levels. He is an active member of DCASTD and the Mid-Atlantic Facilitators’ Network (MAFN).
