This event is presented in partnership with the Leadership Development Community of Practice.

In the turmoil of global pandemic and economic downturn, effective leadership is more important than ever. And often, in times of crisis, new leaders emerge, and existing leaders level up. So, how can organizations leverage the current crisis as a leadership development opportunity—to identify emerging leaders and prepare them for new roles? How can existing leaders leverage the crucible of the crisis to grow?

Join us for a conversation with two leaders who are in the crux of answering those questions right now.

John Hillen is the CEO of EverWatch Solutions, a 400 person technology services firm, an author, former assistant secretary of state for political-military affairs, a combat veteran and former U.S. Army officer. In these and other leadership roles, John has faced many crises, and in this one, he’s a leading voice on policy for the contractor community.

Dolly Oberoi is the founder and CEO of C2 Technologies, Inc. a performance support company headquartered in Vienna, VA. Over the past few weeks, she has had to make some tough decisions to ready her company to withstand the onslaught of this crisis.

In this conversation, John and Dolly will talk about finding the opportunities within the crisis—opportunities to grow and evolve both individuals and the organization. They will share their insights on how leaders must adapt on the fly to address new challenges, how to identify and prepare emerging leaders, and how talent development professionals can best support leaders during this difficult time.

If you have questions for these speakers, please send them in advance to cop_leadership_dev@dcatd.org by Tuesday, April 14th.
