As humans, we love stories. Our brains are wired for stories. And, we each have unique experiences that make us who we are, and who we aspire to become.
When we share our experiences as stories (whether verbally, via LinkedIn, on a website, or in a professional bio), we can more easily connect with, or “speak to,” our ideal prospective clients or customers, in an authentic and compelling way, while also differentiating ourselves from our competitors.
In this session, we will identify the experiences that have shaped us professionally and personally. Using a template and story format, we will begin to draft our own professional stories, and solicit ideas from one another. Finally, we will discuss how you can use variations of your story to connect with others, and to build your business or professional network.
