A great year often starts with a great plan, but do you know where your starting line is? When it comes to balancing your professional goals, your personal plans, and your time and capacity, there are many factors to consider—and that's why you need a roadmap.

Get ready to plan your best year yet as you build a roadmap to guide you through 2021! Through a session full of tips, tools, brainstorming, and conversations with fellow consultants and TD professionals, you'll build your own strategic roadmap to guide your upcoming year. We'll take a look at the components of a successful annual strategic plan, identify what elements will play a critical role in its development and execution, and determine how you can assess your progress and prepare for roadblocks and detours when you encounter them. Whether you are a new freelancer, an experienced business owner, or a TD practitioner employed by an organization, this session will prepare you for the expected—and the not-so-expected. Get ready to map out a successful year!

Presenter: Stephanie Hubka

Stephanie Hubka wants to live in a world where learning is exciting and inspiring and training is recognized as a natural driver of an organization’s strategy. For the past 15 years she has provided strategic leadership and expertise on professional learning and organizational performance solutions to companies in more than 50 countries. As the managing partner of Protos Learning, LLC, she specializes in developing strategies and products that advance a company’s mission, vision, and professionalism.

Known for innovative solutions that initiate immediate organization-wide growth, Stephanie has developed hundreds of instructor-led, eLearning, virtual, social, and blended learning programs for clients in the non-profit, for-profit, government, and education spaces. She is the co-founder of Road Unraveled, a human capital organization that encourages businesses to embrace the connection between paid time off and professional success.

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University's Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Stephanie is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD). She is a past president of and current VP of Finance for the Metro DC Chapter of ATD and serves as a National Advisor for Chapters for ATD. Her passion for training is equaled only by her love of exploring the globe; an avid traveler, she has visited all 7 continents, 65 countries, and all 50 US states.
