Storyboarding. In today's fast-paced Snapchat, TikTok, Marco Polo world, why bother? Anyone with a smartphone can make a video, right? So who needs a storyboard, and why take the time to create one (especially if drawing is not something that comes naturally to you)? The power of Storyboarding is that it brings your story into focus, allowing you to edit and revise before you hit "record." In this interactive workshop, we'll look at several examples of storyboards used for different purposes. Participants will have an opportunity to practice storyboarding and design thinking, using a simple template. Bring your pens and pencils, sticky notes, and blank paper, and be prepared to have some fun!

Martha Stott, CPTD, has more than 20 years of experience in training, instructional design, and learning and development.
