While the pandemic has caused changes in the way we develop and deliver learning, we as Instructional Designers must be agile, critical thinkers, and keep up with industry trends and design standards. The purpose of this forum is to discuss the evolving environment of instructional design. The latest ideas, emerging trends, and skills to investigate in 2022 will be discussed by top industry leaders.

Destery Hildenbrand is a learning experience producer at Motive.io. He has over 15 years of experience in training and development for corporate and higher education, focusing on engaging others through technology and immersive reality experiences. Destery helps organizations plan, design, and develop engaging and effective immersive reality experiences. He is an Immersive technology instructional designer and Learning Experience Producer.

Cara North is an award-winning learning experience leader who has worked in corporate, higher education and consulting. She is currently the Director of Learning and Development for Circulo Health, a healthcare organization with a mission to create world-class healthcare for America's most valuable. Cara has served as President of Central Ohio ATD's Board of Directors and you can find her sharing her unfiltered learning and development content on LinkedIn, Twitter, and her YouTube channel, Unfiltered ID.

Tim Slade is a speaker, author, award-winning freelance eLearning designer, and creator of The eLearning Designer’s Academy. Having spent the last decade and a half working to help others elevate their eLearning and visual communications content, Tim has been recognized and awarded within the eLearning industry multiple times for his creative and innovative design aesthetics. Tim is also a regular speaker at international eLearning conferences, a recognized Articulate Super Hero, a LinkedIn Learning Instructor, coauthor of the E-Learning Uncovered Series of books, and author of The eLearning Designer’s Handbook.

Jonathan Peters, PhD, is the Chief Motivation Officer at Sententia. He has spent over a decade studying the science and art of motivation and persuasion. As a speaker, he has helped audiences from Melbourne, Australia to Augusta, Maine more effectively communicate with their customers and team-members. With Sententia, he applies his knowledge and experience to make learning more enticing, engaging, and encouraging through gamification. Jonathan is the co-author of Deliberate Fun: A Purposeful Application of Game Mechanics to Learning Experiences, author of several titles, and ghostwriter of 62 books. But he is best known as a bourbon connoisseur.
