For consultants and small businesses, having a book can provide credibility, marketing opportunities, extra income, and a sense of accomplishment. And it seems like many people in our industry say they either want to write a book or are even already working on a book. But what does it really take to make it happen? In this program, hear from three of our own who have successfully published books.
They will discuss their experiences in the following areas:
Determining your goal for the book
Coming up with your topic and content
The mechanics of writing
Staying motivated to finish
Self-publishing vs. finding a publisher
Editing, layout, and cover design
Distribution and marketing
The program will be facilitated by Diane Elkins, author of the E-Learning Uncovered book series, Halelly Azulay, author of Employee Development on a Shoestring, and Suzanne Kryder, author of The Mind to Lead.
