This event aligns with the Personal, Professional and Organizational Application of ATD's Talent Development Capability Model.

Leaders need to pivot quickly to attend to the 'whole person' in a hybrid world. This requires deeply self-aware and resilient leaders of learning--able to navigate paradox, uncertainty, and an expanding market of untested tools to keep learners engaged. Not all organizations and programs had been selecting and investing in these capabilities prior to the rise of COVID. We will focus on how learning leaders can act now to position themselves and their organizations for the future, discussing such topics as inequalities between in-person and remote workers, biases, unique leadership capabilities to develop, and the leaders' responsibility for employee mental health. Bring your questions and your insights on how we can prepare leaders to lead the whole person in a hybrid world.

Panel: 1) Jayson Blair, Coach, Hogan Coaching Network; 2) Riz Shah, Organizational Culture Advisor, Department of Energy; 3) Sherron Washington, Marketing and Communication (Marcom) Professor and Leadership Strategist

He has appeared in national and international media outlets discussing coaching, mental wellness, and other topics, including Hogan’s The Science of Personality podcast.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Jayson was an accomplished coach at Ashburn Psychological Services, where he created a novel program that brought coaching into the mental health arena. He founded a coaching and consulting firm in 2010, bringing clients the unique perspective of a manager who has driven change and who deeply understands leadership psychology. He has worked with small organizations as well as those with budgets of more than $30 billion.
