Today (for the first time) there are four generations working side-by-side in the workplace. This situation has come about for many reasons: economic, demographic, social and others.Along with generational diversity comes the potential for conflict and misunderstanding – as well as the potential for highly creative collaboration. In this special ASTD SIG session, OKA’s Hile Rutledge will

•Present detailed information about each of the 4 generations
•Identify typical areas of conflict and synergy among the generations – including some surprises!
•Facilitate an interactive discussion about the challenges faced by the OD / HR professional working with multi-generational groups
•Discuss how valid assessment instruments can be helpful tools in improved self-awareness and self-management around multigenerational issues.
